A Very Blurred and Confused Day O_o

Its the second day of school after the third school holiday ended, and we're using normal timetables again. This is quite hard for me to get used to since the week before the holiday, we were using the Fasting Month timetable.
Okay, non-PTE student might be wondering, What is a Fasting Month timetable? Well, it's a rescheduled timetable which ensure us to finish school exactly at 12p.m, not 2p.m as what Normal timetable would do. Lessons were cut short, from 1hr 10 min to just 50 min, with only one period of break time of 10 mins, and without 5min students movement time between classes. So its a very chaotic world in PTE during fasting month. We registered at 7.30 til 7.40, then straight off to the first class until 8.30, that's when we started to move to the next class, after that we have our break time from 9.20 til 9.30 at which we prepare ourselves for the next 3 classes in a row, non-stop until the clock struck 12.
So, to start it all off, I came to PTE without my glasses on which is nothing unusual since
I always hangs it between my 'baju kurung' button everytime I enters the PTE central hallway gate. Finally I reach my locker, put my stuff in and went upstairs to the usual C.G-7 Locker Crew morning hangout place. Along the way, I saw, with my blurry eyesights of course, lots of them standing up so I reach for my spectacles and to my surprise, its not there!!
I was thinking lyk, OMG OMG... I wanna go home!! It's useless to come to PTE without my glasses!! How am I going to see the whiteboard?!?!
And so... My Very Blurred and Confused Day started... Q in music!!
Hahaha.
  • The Blurry Maths Class

First class was Maths, and I was a bit lucky because my seat is at front. Today's lesson was finishing the past year paper, so there's not much trouble here, except when teacher started to write out the solutions on the board. Luckily, I have C-Pie to copy from, good thing that we sits next to each other.

Homework: Maths Paper 1 June 2006

  • The Lucky Chemistry Class

Next up, Chemistry. This class really worries me, because in it, my seat was the furtest from the whiteboard. Our formerly pregnant teacher have come back to school today since early August, that's when she delivered a healthy baby boy. In my attempt to get through the lesson, I ask Intan to help me and she agreed. Luckily, since my teacher haven't printed out our notes yet our class got cancelled and we just do our own work in the chemistry lab under her supervision. Thank GOD, Alhamdulillah... I spend this free time finishing my Maths Homework.

  • Break Time

As always, I went down to C.G-7 locker, obviously it's the C.G-7 Locker Crew break and lunch hangout place. I told the crew on how my day went so far, about the lucky chems. Then I prepare myself for the 3 storey stair climb to my next destination, Geography Class.

  • The Restless Geography Lesson

Teacher came in late today, so I spend most of my time waiting for my teacher to come by finishing what's left in my Maths Homework. When teacher came, I was satisfied that I only have 3 more questions to answer. Then came the awful sentence from my teacher,

'It's time for a short test'.

Not that I worried about my test preparation, I know I wasn't. The instant I looked at the OHP slide for the test, I know I was doomed. All I see was nothing but blotches of ink!! And teacher was expecting us to copy the diagram, identify the processes and submit by the end of the class!!

So I copied the diagram for Adibah, my former schoolmate and my present geomates, who sits next to me in class. Hahahaha, how silly I must've been, copying from others when it's supposedly a test!! But, Thanks To GOD, again... Alhamdulillah... That Miss Lim was very nice today, maybe she knew I left my glasses at home, my seat was in front ya know...

  • The Great EAS Reading

Why is it great? Because we spent most of the period reading other people's writing on contrasting pieces and correcting them. So not much of a prob here, only when sir started to speak. I need to see his mouth movement when he's talking to understand what is he talking about. Well, I didn't get much of the lips movement, even his face was like a splash of pigments, all mashed up below his grey hair. That's what U get when you forgot your glasses, U turn ur teachers into a very low definition blokes, virtually of course.

  • The Mistaken Physics Class (a.k.a Lunch Time)

Remember when I told you about Fasting Month timetable? Yup, just minutes ago. See, unlike during the Fasting Month, today we have LUNCH TIME after our fourth class because we're using Normal Timetable now. Influenced by the thought of Fasting Month Timetable, I thought we don't!! So there I was walking through the hallway to my next class, Physics. Along the way, I saw Yeet Yang walking along the 1st floor science block balcony. I thought, maybe the Physics Class change place. So I followed him, innocently, until he opened a locker which, after some confusing time, I figured it's his. And now, prepare yourself for the most blurred and confused action I made today...

After seeing Yeet Yang opening his locker, I shouted at him, saying that in a way he confused me for believing that the physics class was somewhere else. He replied asking whether or not I followed him all the way to his locker. Well, of course I did!! What else would you do when ur classmates suddenly change routes when you are supposedly going to the same class? I mean, you'll follow him too if he's your classmate, right? Right?

I turned around and we headed for the stairs, which really amaze me since no one climbed up the stairs but us, most of the students were climbing down, a whole lot of them. So I thought I must be late for class! I hurried my footsteps and finally reach the physics lab. In front of the lab door, I found a notice stating that the lab will be close stating for 14th October, so I stand there, tying to remember the date of today's. Luckily, we found Mr.Prakash passing by and he made a hand movement which I can't recognise because, erm... its blurry!! Yeet Yang then said we will be studying in the other physics lab. Since its not 14th oct yet, I wonder why we moved... We head for the other physics lab when suddenly i realised that Mr.Prakash is going the other way.

Confused by his action, I asked, 'But where are you going sir?'.

Looking confused himself, Mr.Prakash can't get through his words. Yeet Yang then replied, 'Errr... Lunch' at which I thought was a joke. I laughed though. Now that I thought of it, I must've looked very silly.

We reached the other physics lab and I opened the door. To my surpise, no one is there. So I was asking wether or not its the lab we're suppose to go to. He said yes. Then why the heck isn't it full of our classmates? And then it struck me...

'Err... because it's lunch time?!?! (duuh)', he said.

I stood there, mouth open, froze for a while, trying to get all into my brain... Finally I came back to my senses... I felt a reddish pigmentation on my cheeks and it felt warm.

'Oh My GOD, It's Lunch Time? It's Lunch Time!' and there I was rambling about the stuff that happened right before that very moment. My mind was completely occupied by the fact it was Lunch Time that I can't even hear myself rambles. All Yeet Yang could say was that I'm so confused today. Feeling embarrased, I left the physics lab. Went down to C.G-7 lunch hangout place, found Din, Pie & Eddie who asked where the heck had I been. I told the crew of the embarassing incident and they all had a big laugh over it.

  • The Real Physics Class

I came in late, probably because of my embarrasment towards Mr.Prakash and Yeet Yang. I thought of escaping, but I left my things in the physics lab just before I went for lunch. Escaping plan, big no-no. Still not getting over it, I decided to divert away just as I reach the physics door and went to the toilet. There I stood in front of the mirror, alone, saying that it couldn't get any worse. Besides, only a few people knows about it. Finally I went inside, dare not to even have a glance at both Mr.Prakash and Yeet Yang.

As the lessons went on, I haven't have a clue what sir is writing on the board. Because of my new seat position, Wakkil is sitting next to me and I wasn't quite use to having him helped me. I wasn't use to having my male friends helps me, only those who are the closest. This is because, to somebody, I might be a nobody, and not everyone wants to help a nobody. So there I was, trying my best to answer the questions given when suddenly I got confused over something, and I turn to Mr.Prakash for help. Quite odd because for the same question, I was solving the unknown x but sir was expecting me to solve the unknown D. Then it hits me...

'U r using the wrong equation! We are using that equation (pointing at the whiteboard), that's why I wrote it there'

Oh my god, Mr.Prakash must've thought I wasn't paying any attention to the class. I was!! Its just that the whiteboard seems unwritten from my view. And besides, I was concentrating on other questions when he explained about the equation. I guess it was my fault. At least I admit it... I thought it was over, when suddenly Mr.Prakash stood in front of the class and said,

'Adibah was using the wrong equation. See, I told U that we need to find the 'tita' first by using Tan 'tita', then we can substitute it to the equation to find D. See... (continues lecturing me)... because it is difraction grating, and not the double slit experiment, so don't use the double slit equation!!'

I was like, Oh my GOD, Ya Allah, besar sungguh dugaan-Mu pada hamba Mu ini... The whole class listened as Mr.Prakash lectured me. I was red from top to bottom. I was humiliated, or so I think I was, but I believe that Mr.Prakash intention was good. I think today is the top 5 Most Embarassing Day Of My Life.... So Far.

Homework: Homework Assignment 1

  • A Very Personal P.S Time

Since I took 5 subjects, I lost my P.S time (Personal Study Time) so I thought i the school can't give me any, I'll just have to make my own very personal Personal Study Time. Around 2pm, I went to the library, study there until my dad came to pick me up from school, which is around 5pm. Yesterday, I went with Joo Sie. Today, she outrun me, and arrived at the library earlier than me. I tried to search for her seat so that I could sit next to her. I can't. So I picked a seat under the lights and went outside to get more stuff. Found Joo Sie along the way but she looked busy so I wasn't sure if I really want to disturb her. So I passed on the thoughts of sitting besides her.

Took out my Physics and Maths Homework and started to finish it. I got stuck on Q.4 for Physics. I wanted to ask sir, but I wonder wether he has gone back home or not. I decided that I won't risk another chance getting embarrass, entering the teacher's lounge when my teacher wasn't there. Overall, I'm satisfied. Despite my blurry vision, confused thoughts and being humiliated, I finished my homeworks except for those that I wasn't sure of. My way of regaining my self-esteem.

Wishlist Added~

Okay, maybe u might not notice, maybe u might..
I've just added my wishlists on the sidebar... which mostly are consist of...
SCRABBLE!!!!!
Hahaha, my scrabble frenzy started when one day, my Kendo CCA Club was cancelled, so Syafiq, Syarif & Eddie (being good friends for once) invited us (me, Hafsah, Bee Suan, Haziq, Samsul) into their Chess & Scrabble CCA Club. There, I played scrabble against Haziq & Syafiq... And I won!! Eversince that day, I wish that I have a scrabble.. But having monopoly and cluedo on my cabinet, mom doesn't allow me to buy more board games... So, well, I'll let U figure out the rest..

Poor me... Kinda sad though... I really2 want a SCRABBLE!!!

As I was Web Window Shopping, checking out scrabble products, I came across this:

~Scrabble-PREMIER WOOD EDITION~

~This baby only spells two words... PURE LUXURY~

~Is there a doctor in here? I think I'm Fainting~

As what Michael Buckley says:

"I Have To Have It!!"

But, it costs about $69.99 (US Dollar, I think) which is way out of my affordable price range...

If only there's a prince charming somewhere, who would bought this scrabble for me...

*Sigh*

Oh well, Fairy Tales will always be Fairy Tales... It won't come true anyways...

Fasting Month Is Here!!!

So okay, for those of us Muslims out there....
HAPPY FASTING MONTH!!!
And for those non-Muslims in Brunei
THANK YOU FOR RESPECTING BY NOT EATING IN FRONT OF US!!!
oookkkaaayyy, enough greetings, lets do some posting...
Brief explanation about the fasting month
  • We fast from dawn til dusk
  • Last meal before dawn is called Sahur
  • When we break our fast, its called Sungkai
  • Other than fasting, we cannot lie, or do sinful things.
  • Cannot pick our nose & ears during the fast.
  • We girlz get to have holidays from fasting when we have period \(^_^)/
  • f. boys doesn't
  • After a month of fasting, Hari Raya comes!!!
As I was blog hopping to my fwens blogs... (my way of procrastinating)... I found something that interest me...
Its a post by my Physics, Maths and EAS classmate, Yeet Yang, about his day in the month of Ramadhan...
Kinda awkward to see him post about fasting month, hahahaha, especially coz he's a non-faster...
Bah, I copy paste Yeet Yang's post from his blog, I hope he doesn't mind... If you guys wana read single-handedly from his blog, then just click below

"Enter the holy month. The fasting month. The drink/eat-in-front-of-a-faster-and-get-jeered month.
You know how something doesn't look so bad until it happens?

That's what I thought when I brought my bottle to school. Then I realised how stupid it was.
I mean, I'm bringing this HUGE Tupperware bottle and I feel so awkward bringing it around. lolwtf

Note to self: Bring something you can keep in your bag.

I'm just thankful I didn't bring lunch over to school.

===============
Chemistry class

We're waiting for the teacher to get here and everyone's chit chatting.
I didn't really notice anything but everyone started laughing. I turn to Yu Heng to ask him what happened and I see him smiling with water in his mouth.

He spat it in the sink and said that he forgot.

What happened:
We both sit at the front of the class. He was chatting with some guys behind him and probably got thirsty.

In front of a crowd of fasters, he drank water and everyone was just looking at him.

Probably couldn't get any worse than that, but there was this time after that when Mr Oscar was teaching us.

"Alright, I like to think of orbitals as... say... an S orbital would be a soccer ball. I used to think they were just flat but in reality, they're 3D."

"So a P orbital would look something like uhh... Go into a fruit stall and- ah, food."

A guy at the back's like eeeee or something. I dunno how to describe those sound effects.

"Yeah, I'm evil. Anyways, a P orbital would look like two melons!"

Non-chemistry students : You probably won't get this. Pity. =P

Nothing much else to share here. Enjoy your fasting month, fasters! We'll be reaping the benefits of sungkai buffets while you're at it. olol <.<;; "
~~~~~
Aha, So its all about the Sungkai buffet, isn't it? xp
Ahahahaha
Anyways, Thanks Yeet Yang for allowing me to copy paste from your blog!!
Its a good thing, ya know, living in Brunei...
We get to be given Angpau for their Chinese New Year
They get to enjoy Sungkai buffet for the whole month
I guess that's all for now, Gonna break my fast soon...
L6 End Year Exam (Last Day)
Yesh!! Today is the last exam day!!
Physics MCQ, then...
FREEDOM!!
Hahahaha
Physics MCQ went well, i think... Besides the part when I got 5 more questions to answer and there's only five minutes left.... and also the fact that I sit on the front seat and Mr.Prakash was standing in front of me most of the time during the exam was nerve wrecking...
ITS A BATTLE ZONE OUT THERE!! AND I'M IN THE FRONT LINE!!
But... There is an advantage sitting on the front seat.. You see, our seats were arranged so that one class sat on the same line, and that every front and back seat was labelled with our subject (coz sometimes two subjects have their exams on the same time), our teacher's name, block and number of students in our class. Since I'm in the front, my seat was labelled...
YEAH!!
So before I went out of the hall, I took the label and bring it back to my locker. I don't know why but since its my last exam paper, it would be a good reminder of those exam days. At first I wanted to bring it home, but then if its at home don't know where to put it. So, I just stick it up in my locker.. Here's a picture of my locker.
~My Locker a.k.a Physics Shrine~
And after seeing the so-called shrine, my friends made a conclusion. Its either I'm obsess with physics or Mr. Prakash... Hahahaha, Its physics of course... But somehow they think I'm more obsess to Mr. Prakash... I don't know why...
9.30 am, I'm ready to go home after the exam... Before that, I manage to get some pics of C.G-7 Locker Crew...
~No more exam!!!~
~Biology MCQ in one hour~
Oh ya, Pai, Sur, Joo Sie & Bee Suan have Biology MCQ & Syafiq, Zaleha, Nina have Accounting, both at 10.00 am... So some of us taste freedom a bit late than. But alas, its still is the last day...
FREEDOM!!!!
Mum came to school and pick me up right after that. As I was planning on what games to play and what lazy stuff that I want to do when I get back home, I took a picture of our new school. Its somewhere in Meragang along the Muara-Tutong Highway... Next year, there ain't gonna be Sixth Form Centre anymore in Berakas because we are going to move to Meragang!!!
~What A Sight~
A beauty it is...
Can't wait till next year... but rumour has it that we're going to move there in October...
Ain & Saidi, Please Forgive Me.....
*Looking At My Watch*
*Sighed*
7 p.m....
I reckon Ain and the others are in the Brunei International Airport now...
It's Ain's last day in Brunei... She'll be flying off to Heathrow Airport for the next hours...
Studying there in London for the next 5 years...
All of them will be waving at her plane as it take off tonight
*Sighed*
And I'm stuck in my bedroom posting this blog...
Dejavu... Same old story repeated again...
Reminiscing to the night of August 26th, 2008...
I found myself stuck in my bedroom... Mom won't send me to the airport... It's Saidi's, my physics classmate, last day before he went off studying abroad, in London, of course... She directly hit me with such awfully true reasons... So true that I can't even contradict with her...
D'Ba:
Mom, I've never went out of home in the night without you before... so please mom, just give me one chance... let me have a taste of my long-awaited but short-lasted freedom...
Mom:
Well, the way I see it, you've been good all these years... In fact you & your sister are the most unsocialized daughters in our neighbourhood... So I guess, I should give you a chance...
D'Ba:
Really?? You Mean It?? You Really Mean it?!?!
Mom:
Hmmm, to think twice... Although you haven't been socializing with your friends, you've been at your best behavoir all this time... So I guess why should you start socializing now?? Seems no point...
*My jaw dropped, impossible, how could she..*
D'Ba:
Mom... I'm almost 18... Come on... Gimme a break...
Mom:
Almost... but not yet 18... Beside, being 18 doesn't mean you can do anything you want...
D'Ba:
But Mom, I'm sick & tired of this, being overly-protected...
Mom:
You are not going, young lady... and that's final!! (mom began to look angry)
D'Ba:
Gees, Mom... All I'm saying was all my friends are doing it, why can't I?
Mom:
Shut Up!! You're living in my house, so you must obey my rule!! Whether you like it it or not!! And Your Not Going!! Go Upstairs and study more!!! Show me your 'A's in the next assessment, then I might consider on letting you free...
*At this point, I can't argue more..*
Yeah, me & my Mom get into quarells often... but it never lasted long... coz i always end up obeying her orders so that she'll be happy again...
Sad Life I'm having.. Don't be sorry for me...Owh, you're not?? Umm, okay then... Some of you out there might have had worser life than mine... Just appreciate your life yeah, coz I believe that something good will turn out soon if you be patient with your life... Like what my physics teacher, Sir Elmie Faizal, always says..
"Good things come to those who waits"
Same Old Story, Same Old Situation... But this tym it really hurts, it hurts more than on the night of 26th... Saidi is a close friend... but Ain is somewhat closer... My eyes are drowning with tears but I won't let it run down my cheeks... I won't show how weak I am in front of my mother... I won't even show her that I'm in pain...
"So hear me out Mom, I will follow your rules, and I will always obey you..."
Even if it hurts...
If you are reading this Ain & Saidi, I'm really sorry I can't be there to say goodbye before you all enter the gate... well, considering that we'll meet again, I wouldn't want to say goodbye... 'See You Later' is perhaps a better greet...
